Children’s Work

The small children are brought together to form a playgroup where they are taught to play with puzzles and blocks. They are encouraged to draw and taught craftwork.

School going children are encouraged to take advantage of the tutor provided by Karuna so that they can  do well in their studies

70 odd children from the age of 3 months to 14 years are given a glass of milk with a boiled egg/banana daily. 

Milk is given daily to all children and nursing mothers Children enjoying boiled eggs

 

 

 

Children are also put in good christian boarding schools so that seeds of christian values are sown in them. These children will return to the leprosy colony with a different mindset helping to change the colonies as all of them will be well educated with the medium being english.

Parties and Gettogethers with other children like orphans and rescued bonded child labourers are held so that these children have an evening of fun. Games are held and snacks are given to them. At Christmas each child is given a gift hamper.
