Abundance Project
The Abundance project is part of the wider Karuna project to give employment to the leprosy affected and in the long run fund the activities of the Karuna Charitable Trust.
10 acres of agricultural land has been bought by the Karuna Trust. On 6 acres of this land Jatropha will be cultivated and vegetables will be cultivated on the rest of the land. Also a shed has been erected to house 100 goats.

Jatropha is a wonder plant and a crop for the future. The seeds obtained from the Jatropha fruit are as big as coffee beans and are crushed to extract oil which is used in the production of Bio-diesel.
